The door was open. He pushed it lightly and entered to find nothing. Jim wasn’t there. Seb’s heart began to race a bit, He was panicking, something that happened very rarely. He scrambled through the flat and switched on all the lights, ransacking the entire place. He was standing in the hallway when he heard the faint buzz of music playing; he realized it was coming from the office. He pushed open the door. And there he was. Jim was lying with his head on the desk, along with all his papers, contraband and loot. He was adorned in a royal cape, trimmed with fur with the matching crown sitting beside his head. Beside that was his mobile, where the music was coming from. His ear buds were plugged in and he was being lulled to sleep by classical music. Seb’s heart rate slowed but not completely back to normal. For among the money, the jewels and the riches, there was something far rarer and captivating to Seb’s eye; the faintest smile creeping on Jim’s lips. He stepped forward and gave Jim’s forehead a chaste kiss before turning off his music, stripping him of his new fashion statement and carrying him to bed. Laying him down and tucking him in, he couldn’t believe how cute and maniacal he could be simultaneously. He walked to the door and whispered, “Goodnight, sweet Prince.” He heard, “It’s King,” just as the door clicked shut. Your description is truly beautiful.
